📝 Guidelines for Abstract Submission
All participants are invited to submit their scientific abstracts to IBHS 2025.
Please follow the guidelines below.

⚠️ Important: Abstracts sent by email will NOT be accepted.
🧩 Requirements
- 🌐 Abstract must be written in English.
- 📌 Structure: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Main text (Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion), Keywords, Funding.
- ✍️ Main text: maximum 500 words.
- 📄 File format: .doc or .docx.
- 🔎 At submission: indicate the topic (according to program sessions) and the type (Poster only or Consider for Oral Presentation ¿ subject to Scientific Committee selection).

- Typeface: Arial or Times New Roman
- Font sizes:
- Title: 14 pt, bold
- Authors: 12 pt
- Affiliations: 11 pt, italics
- Main Text: 11 pt (section headings in bold)
- Line spacing: Single (1.0)
- Alignment: Justified
🧪 Title & Authors Format
Title of the Abstract

Write each author as Surname, First name(s) (e.g., Silva, João Pedro).
📚 Abstract Structure
🔹 Introduction
Present background, research objective, and tested hypothesis.
🔹 Materials and Methods
Describe study design, statistical analysis (with specifications), and ethics approval number (mandatory).
Animal studies: provide species, age, weight, sex.
Human studies: approval from the Ethics Committee and CAAE number are required; include relevant details such as age and sex.
🔹 Results
Present findings clearly and in detail, including numerical data, measurement units, and appropriate statistical comparisons.
🔹 Conclusion
Summarize the main findings and highlight their significance, including potential implications.
🔹 Keywords
Provide 3 to 5 keywords.
🔹 Funding
If applicable, indicate funding sources or acknowledgments.
